Code of conduct

Our AI Workshop and AI Summit are dedicated to providing a respectful, safe, and inclusive environment for all participants. We are committed to fostering a positive experience for everyone, regardless of their gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, disabilities, neurodiversity, physical appearance, body size, ethnicity, nationality, race, age, religion, or any other protected category.

Respectful and Inclusive Environment:

Harassment, discrimination, or condescension in any form will not be tolerated. This includes both overt actions and subtle micro-aggressions.

All communication, whether verbal or written, should be conducted with respect and consideration for others. Demeaning or offensive language is strictly prohibited.

If someone’s behavior or communication makes you uncomfortable, please remember that they might not be aware of the impact. We encourage you to address the issue politely and respectfully.

Zero Tolerance Policy:

Harassment, discrimination, or any form of unwelcome behavior, whether physical or cyber, will not be tolerated. This extends to all participants, including attendees, speakers, sponsors, and organizers.

Threats, whether in person or online, are strictly prohibited and will result in immediate removal from the event.

Responsibility and Content:

The University of Madeira, ARDITI, ITI and GDG Madeira are not responsible for the content presented or shared during the workshop. Any opinions, views, or recommendations expressed by speakers or participants are their own and do not necessarily reflect the views of the organizers.

We are committed to creating an inclusive and respectful environment that encourages open dialogue, learning, and collaboration.
