Overview

This one-day workshop will help you understand how to begin a Machine Learning project fast. It’s excellent for beginners who want to learn the essential steps and tools used in this field with guidance from AI experts.

This workshop is open to anyone interested in learning about artificial intelligence from students, startups, and IT professionals. Please keep in mind that some basic programming background is required to make the most of this workshop.

What is included in the registration?

Registration provides access to all sessions and includes two coffee breaks. It provides free access to the workshop’s materials, slides, and resources. Additionally, this year’s workshop registration allows you to attend the AI Summit.

Registration also permits you to ask additional questions using our Slack channel even after the workshop.

I’m a student. How can I join this event for free?

If you’re a student, you’ll need to show evidence that you’re currently enrolled during the registration process. You’ll also be requested to write a motivation letter explaining why you wish to join the workshop and what you hope to learn from it.

Please be aware that sharing this information doesn’t guarantee a spot in the workshop. Our organizing team will select the top 10 students with the most compelling motivation letters to attend the workshop for free. You will receive an email notification to let you know whether you have been selected for the workshop.

Who is this event for?

This workshop is for researchers, students, industry people, and anyone interested. You should know a bit about programming, especially in Python. You don’t need to be an expert in Machine Learning, but if you have some experience, that’s great!

What do I need to bring with me?

All you need to do is bring your computer and its accessories that you usually use. We might request you install specific software before the workshop if required. We’ll email you this info a few days before the workshop.

We will also provide you with a free wireless connection.

Language

The workshop will be in English, but if you don’t have confidence in asking questions in English, you can ask in Portuguese. Our Portuguese team members will help translate your question for you.

Certificate of participation

After the end of the workshop, we will send your certificate of participation to your email.
